My version is a bit different: 1 c. sugar, 4 T. butter & 3 cups raw almonds. 15-20 min. over med-high heat. Add 1 tsp. vanilla & salt while in pot. Spoon out in clusters onto foil. A Christmas favorite. Mmmm!
