This cake was requested by my chef friend for his birthday. In addition to the coconut and pecans that are called for in the cake recipe, I decorated the top of the cake with extra coconut and the sides of the cake with extra chopped pecans. Since my chef friend is fond of raspberries, I added them for a finishing touch on top.
