I changed the recipe just a lil. I added 1 1/2 tablespoons of onions, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, changed 2 cups of flour to 1 cup flour one cup white corn meal. I also added some fresh ground pepper for taste. The brown sugar made them terrific! Throw a lil vinegar on em and ure good to go!
