This cake was made using the Black Magic Cake recipe. I used the Vanilla Butter recipe from Epicurious. I have never made a cake or icing from scratch in my life. It doesn't look perfect, but it tastes amazing! I picked the recipe because it had a cup of coffee. I used a combo of organic breakfast blend and cafe du monde from New Orleans.
