I made this for myself, my wife, and the one daughter at home this weekend. I cut the recipe in half, and used a smaller pan. It was STILL delicious.
My wife was surprised with this dish, as well as surprised with the memories it brought back of her Grandmother making this when they visited. She remembered it being covered with "cream" when served however.
