This is the result of my attempt at the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Candy Cake recipe. I changed a few things by making the cake part in a cupcake pan to more closely resemble the Tandy Cakes I am used to. Once cooked, I spread the peanut butter over the top of each cake, and then spread a little melted chocolate over the top of that. A word of caution, the heated chocolate makes the peanut butter 'melt' so once you plop a bit of chocolate onto the top of the cake, quickly spread it over the top so that the bulk of the chocolate is at the edges. Then spread down from the edges to 'frost' the sides of the cake. You could also pour the chocolate over the cakes to cover them, but I was afraid I wouldn't have enough chocolate so I spread instead.
