Country Chicken Casserole

My husband said this was the best casserole in the world and now demands that I make it weekly. It was a huge hit in my house and I can't wait to make this for a party! I cooked the chicken separately in a skillet before baking, because the thought of cooking raw chicken in the oven with other ingredients grossed me out. As such, I adjusted the cooking time in the oven since I didn't need to cook the chicken. I used fried onions for the topping, but next time will try the cheesy ones. I also used the hash browns with onions & peppers in it already. Like another reviewer, I also used Velveeta cheese. It's also awesome with bacon in it!
