I used 1/2 butter and 1/2 butter flavored shortening for flavor, which is why the frosting is yellow. I frosted the sides of the cake, then piped stars around the bottom, put Pepperidge farm 'Pirouette' cookies around it, and piped frosting on the top. Then to finish I tied ribbons around the cookies.
