i'm Rhonda, but mostly just "Rho" (49), and i live in kansas city, ks with my wife ann(41) and our son alex (17). Ann and I just got married on Sept 12, 2009 in Iowa. we have 2 older sons, both in the army. chris(28) recently returned from iraq, and jesse(23) recently returned from korea. we lost our daughter amanda(16) in nov '05 to cancer. we have 3 beautiful grandchildren (darien 9, izabel 7 and elena 4). we also have furkids... 3 cats(toby, phrankie and jackie), 3 dogs(rudy, sarge, lola), and 2 sugar gliders(minnie and sabastian). i love to read, cook, do ALOT of craft type stuff, and spend time with my family and friends. i just became a first time college student at one of our local community colleges, so i am going to school fulltime and working part time at the campus as a student assistant in the deans office. i'm working towards a bachelors degree in social work, and i am loving it! oh, there's too many things to mention! lol it seems our lives are so busy/crazy ... i tell our friends "when you come over you might not find a spotless, uncluttered house, but you'll alway find good food and good company!" thanksgiving is our biggest food holiday of the year (as i'm sure it is with many families!) our youngest granddaughter has been visiting us every fall and loves to cook homemade bread with me. oh my goodness... i love it when i can make a round cake and frost it and have it come out flat and even!!! lol ummmm... one time i used regular rice instead of instant rice in a recipe... and it was like eating tiny rocks! ugh! lol
