We call this "breakfast" casserole mainly because of the scrambled egg in it, the morning cereal on top and the muffin like fluffy"ness" of it! Its sooo delicious.
ALTERATIONS TO RECIPE:
We like to only mash half of the cornflakes and leave the other half whole makes for a better topping,
plus we skip the "overnight" rule and just let it sit for a half hour to soak up the egg..
and we cook it just a tad bit longer so its not as runny!
