This soup is absolutely fantastic! I made a few changes accordingly to our taste: I sautéed 3 gloves of garlic, onions, celery and carrots with olive oil. Once done, I added the chicken broth and all the other ingredients. Some reviewers advised that this soup was too thick, so I reduced the amount of barley to 3/4 cup and still was very thick. Next time I will add only 1/2 cup of barley. Thanks for this wonderful recipe, BEAKER1!!!
