I live in beautiful hill country Texas with my wonderful husband, three amazing daughters, and our big, sweet, fluffy dog. I am a WAHM (work-at-home mom) and I love my lifestyle. I get the best of both worlds, being home for my kids and also earning a paycheck. I just love variety! I have some old stand-by recipes, but really enjoy trying new things. Homemade spaghetti sauce from scratch just like my mom and her mom before me. I don't frequently spend the time to do it, but when I do it's always worth it. I also love getting together with my mom to create the best Thanksgiving meal you can imagine. My friends love my banana nut bread! I take a lot of pride in it. Acutally it's my mom's recipe that I grew up with, and it is amazing. Other than that, I consider it a triumph whenever I actually find a recipe that the whole family likes. I was pretty disappointed when I tried to do a cheesy baked artichoke dip for the first time. It was for a party I was hosting and I really wanted it to turn out well, but I overcooked it and it came out greasy and yucky... not really a tragedy, but I'm normally not one to cry over spilt milk, or anything else that goes wrong in the kitchen!
