Rhubarb and Strawberry Pie

There was a bit too much sugar for my taste, but when I made it, there were no complaints who ate it. Mine was the only dessert that had an empty pan by the end of the night. To make the top crust easier, I rolled out the dough and used a small cookie cutter to cut out small shapes from the dough. I then put those all over the top of strawberry filling. It looked gorgeous!!

Sherry Wine Sauce Chicken

Got rave reviews.... Sauce is great as rice "gravy." I didn't have a can of cream of mushroom so I substituted more cream of chicken instead, and I still got asked for the recipe. Nice change of pace from the usual fare and so EASY!!

Creamy Broccoli Casserole

Good texture, but bland! Definitely needs more spices!! I didn't think this was the worth the calories. I added tons of garlic and italian seasons and still thought it needed some extra kick. Won't be making again....

Best Ever Muffins

Great, Versatile Base Recipe! The cooking time is too long though. I cooked them for around 16-18 minutes, and they were golden brown. I am adding this recipe to my recipe collection to make again! Everyone gobbled them up!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

This cheesecake was gobbled up for Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone LOVED it and asked for the recipe. I replaced the spices with pumpkin pie spice as I didn't have any gnd cloves on hand. The spices were just right. I will definitely be making this again. It is a nice change from the typical seasonal pumpkin pie and very EASY to make (especially with a store bought graham cracker crust)!

Salsa Chicken

So simple and so delicious. This recipe turns out great everytime. The chicken is always moist. I never measure the salsa -- I just completely cover the chicken with it. I told my mom about this recipe, and she tried it with pork chops. My dad begs for salsa pork chops all the time now.

Smothered Mexican Lasagna

This recipe turned out okay. I don't recommend the flour tortillas because they became so mushy and soft that they gave the lasagne a poor texture. It tasted okay, but I will probably never make again.
