Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
I made this tonight for Father's Day. Key Lime Pie is my husband's favorite. Until now, I would try a new recipe each time. We have found our standard! I cooked it for 12 mintues as suggested and used 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk. Thank you!!

Easy Pancakes

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
Much to my surprise, I hosted a sleepover without having pancake mix in the house. I looked up this recipe and I likely won't buy mix again! These were fluffy and delicious! I did cut the baking powder and added the vanilla as suggested. I had happy sleepover kids with full bellies!

Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Blue Cheese-Chive Butter

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
While eating this meal, my husband said it tasted like something we'd get at a steakhouse restaurant. It was fantastic!! We marinated for 4 hours and it was so delicious. The meat was great on it's own and even better with the butter. The blue-cheese chive butter could be an addition to any grilled steak, it was wonderful. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
Easy and delicious! My kids and husband ate every bite tonight! I would use less butter next time, but it did help add to a yummy crisp coating. I used boneless/skinless chicken breast.

Easy Tilapia with Wine and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2007
This was DELICIOUS! I made it just like the recipe says, except for I baked it rather than grilled it. (425 for 20-25 minutes as suggested earlier) My husband and I decided it was "company worthy" and are looking forward to making it for visitors. Our 9 year old wanted seconds!

This was delicious and very easy to make. What a presentation with ice cream. We made it as the recipe is listed, but agree that it could do with less sugar. yummy!

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2007
This was delicious! I used chicken breasts for me and my husband and legs for my kids. We all liked it. My husband and I thought it may be nice made as chicken medallions, then served with the sauce over rice. Also, if we are cooking for just the adults, we may add some hot pepper flakes as well. When I shared this with a friend, she said it would be good with salmon as well.

Michelle's Blonde Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2007
I had ground chicken and used that, it was good, but I do think a shredded chicken would work best with this recipe. My 9 year old loved it and wanted it the next night! We also skipped the cilantro as this is not a flavor we care for.

I did play with the amounts as per some suggestions, but this was fantastic!! It dried so beautifully on the cookies and had the perfect crunch and taste!

Buckeyes I

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2007
I grew up in Michigan and ate these a lot growing up. I made these this year for the OSU game, mostly for my kids. The adults raved about them and asked me to make them for another party which was last night. They were the first thing to be emptied from the potluck table .. by the adults! Brings back memories for me and a new hit for potlucks! Thanks for posting this! (I will go easier on the sugar the next time.)

Slow Cooker Tipsy Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
Although I didn't have the mushrooms, this was quite tasty. I loved the smell of my house when I walked in after it cooked all day. My 9 year old had two helpings! That always makes for a recipe we'll do over and over!

Cod with Italian Crumb Topping

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2005
I have two kids, ages 8 and 5. They and my husband ate every scrap of the fish and said they would most definitely eat it again. I took the advice of some reviewers and used the low-fat mayonaise. The fish had great flavor (not fishy at all) and was very moist!

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2004
So easy and tasty! We were looking for a quick Prime Rib recipe and ran across this one. Everyone was delighted! We waited until the temp was 146 and then set on the counter where it continued to cook a bit causing it all to be med. well....perhaps may have taken it out a bit earlier for those who like a rarer roast.

Easy Baked Tilapia

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2004
This was good and easy. I had to use what I had on hand which was only Broc/Caul mix without the peppers. I also didn't have the Old Bay so I used another seafood seasoning. I was not expecting that the vegetables cooked with the fish would come out well, but they did. I did, however, have to increase the baking time by 15 minutes. Tasty recipe. I may add some onion next time.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2004
This recipe was outstanding! I had a 3.25lb center cut loin so I added 1/3 of everything, plus the mushrooms as some reviewers suggested. I found the taste delicious, my kids ate up the meat, too (they're not too crazy about sauces). I will add the recommended 2 cups of wine next time rather than three for a thicker sauce. Looking forward to sharing with company!

Rosemary Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2004
This recipe was good. Unfortunately, I had no bread crumbs and needed to start cooking soon...I added a sleeve of crushed saltines. I will make this again using a bit more bread crumbs than on the recipe. The topping was tasty. Our kids don't like "spicy" things, so they wouldn't try it because of the topping. My husband and I liked the flavor.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2003
Three words were uttered from my husband upon his first bite.."Oh My Gosh!" That pretty much sums it up. This was so easy and it was so delicious. I used 1 pound of extra large shrimp which left lots of extra sauce for pasta or dipping. Am looking forward to making again and putting in scampi/escargot dishes with harvarti backed on top!!! Thank you!
