Fantastic Mexican Dip
This was very good. Since I like beans in my dip, I did only use 1 pound of beef and 1 can of refried beans. I browned the meat, drained and then added the can of beans and taco sauce. It was a hit and very yummy. Everyone liked the beef/bean combination.

Slow Cooker Potato Soup
This is a good basic recipe. I did add some celery, and before serving I added to eat bowl some shredded sharp cheddar and fresh bacon pieces. We also had to add quite a bit of salt to taste, but I did use low sodium bouillon, so that may be it.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
This is a great basic recipe, but I thought with the listed ingredients a tad boring. I wanted more of a pot pie for the slow cooker. I add carrots and celery. I'll add peas next time. I also used 1 can of biscuits and slightly smooshed them to completely cover my slow cooker. Half way through biscuits cooking, I brush tops with melted butter. My husband loved it, but only with the added ingredients. Thanks for a great starter recipe though. Who know biscuits would cook like this is a cooker?
