Sweet Potato Casserole II
Although, this makes the recipe more fattening I use butter and added a small amount of heavy cream and used ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg to season it. This was so so good! I have been asked over and over for the recipe.

Cherry Cheesecake Pie
We loved this pie! I used fresh sliced strawberries piled on top and it was wonderful. Mine didn't set as firm as I'd like but I may have rushed it a bit. Also I didn't compile it in the order it said and I may have beat it too long. I only used 1/4 C of lemon juice. I may try just using 2-3 T of concentrated lemon juice next time. I will try layering this in parfait glasses with the strawberries for summer. Very good!

Fabulous Fried Cabbage
This is very good. I shredded the cabbage and added grated carrots as well for added color. Salt and pepper is all that is needed! I do however fry cabbage the exact same way minus the broth. I just poor olive oil in and fry it with grated carrots and sometimes a bit of onion. I let it brown slightly and cover so as it steams as well. Just like frying potatoes and onions. I grew up with it being fried in butter but changed to olive oil to be a bit healthier.
