I was nervous to make this as I am not a cake baker, but I followed the advice of past reviews and did 5 eggs and 1 egg white, then 4 TBL cocoa powder instead of just 3. I baked it in 2 large 9" pans for 35 min. I also used the Cream Cheese Frosting II recipe which made a LOT of frosting. I decorated my cake with a cocoa powder snowflake and green and red M&M's around the edge. It looked and tasted SO good I could have danced in my kitchen!

Fruited Curry Chicken Salad

This is so good, I could have eaten it all before putting it in the fridge to chill. I used both red and green grapes and added dried cranberries, but otherwise I made no changes. Wonderful recipe to serve up on a bed of lettuce.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

If you have not made this recipe yet, you have to try it! It is so super easy and it has tons of flavor. If I ever have to bring a dish to someone, this is what I bring along with some basic white rice. Kids love it as much as adults!

Baked Chicken with Peaches

I like this recipe, but honestly I keep expecting it to taste a little better. I have made it twice and my husband is very iffy about it. Maybe fresh peaches would be better?

Asparagus Cashew Rice Pilaf

This is honestly one of my favorite side dishes to make. Sometimes I add chunks of chicken and serve it with a salad for dinner. It has great flavor.

Smoked Salmon & Watercress Salad With Red Onion-Caper Vinaigrette

I added slices of red potato to the salad and served an entire filet of salmon on top of each persons salad. Very elegant and so delicious!

Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns

I make this recipe the night before any special occasion like Thanksgiving or Christmas day. It simply couldn't be any easier or any more fool-proof. It looks beautiful and it awesome! Try cranberries instead of raisins too!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Excellent! I also added a few extra ingredients like garlic powder on the chicken and chunks of onion and celery stalks inside the bird. It was deliciously moist and what was left on the bones made for great chicken soup!

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

This was worth the time it takes to make this, especially for company as it is a very pretty presentation. I made a few minor adjustments: I used a good cabernet instead of Port, I used canadian bacon in Pam instead of bacon and I poured the sauce over several filet mignon's instead of a roast. The sauce is really what makes this so special. Thanks!

The World's Best Turkey

I followed the directions to the letter and it was awesome! We served this on Christmas Eve and everyone commented on the great taste. You can not taste the champagne at all, which I was concerned about. So easy, it just didn't seem right! (Be sure to coat your oven bag in flour first.)

Basil Vinaigrette

I loved this dressing! It looks a little dark and not so appealing once it is mixed up, but it tastes wonderful over just a basic salad. A good salad dressing to go with a beef dish.

Pork Roast with Thyme

Sage Pork Chops

Cornbread and Sausage Stuffing

I make this recipe every Thanksgiving. I add a chopped Granny Smith Apple 5 slices of white bread cut into chunks. This year I used sage flavored sausage. Love this recipe!

Slow Cooker Lasagna

This was ok, and certainly easy to do, but mine got burnt around the edges after about 6 hours and the lasagna noodles seemed a little too mushy. It was fun to try, but I think I like traditional lasagna better.

Asparagus and Goat Cheese Quesadillas

These were great! I actually used some flour and some whole wheat tortillas and served them as an appetizer at a party. I also made the Zesty Black Bean Quesadillas With Cilantro Sour Cream from this site and the Colantro Sour Cream tasted really good with these quesadilla as well. Very easy to make.

Cheesy Onion Roll-Ups

Instead of messing with chopping the jalepenos, I used a 4oz can of diced peppers and it still had taste! I used whole wheat tortillas too and they held up longer.
