Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This was so good and easy! I did use chicken broth instead of water and leeks instead of onion. Yummy! Going to make more today to warm my husband up from shovelling a foot of snow. Thanks!

Very good! I used portabella mushrooms. I think the trick for it not tasting to vinegary is letting it boil off at the end.

Sauerbraten I

OMG!!!!!!!!! I made a german feast and this was great!! Imarinaded for 5 day and stuck it all in crock pot and put on low for 8 hours! Did add 3/4 cup ginner snaps and the sour cream. Made wth spaetzel, potato pancakes, red cabbage and rye bread. Better than any German restaurant I havr been to. THANK YOU!!!!!

Carrot Rice

This is a great side dish!!I did use Jasmine rice and I also used beef broth instead of water and cooked the rice in a rice steamer.Imade it with Beef tenderloin with ginger - shitake brown butter and sweet and spicy green beans fron this site! It was all sooo good!!!

Beef Tenderloin with Ginger-Shiitake Brown Butter

Very Good! Followed exactly!! Mirim is rice cooking wine and you get it in the grocery store. Also used a good saki and drank the rest with dinner.I did add the juices of the meat in the sauce. Next time I will put the meat on the grill and maybe add fresh chopped scallians instead of chives. I also served with carrot rice and sweet and spicy green beans from this site. Made a great meal!!
