Barbecued Beef Ribs for Two
Oh my.......I've always had trouble having ribs come out well when cooked in the oven. I do not recall ever cooking beef ribs but when Hubs mentioned they were on sale at the store I started looking for recipes. I tried this one but I used commercial BBQ with extra molasses thrown in, and they were INCREDIBLE! The cooking time was right on, and even my son, who hates to eat anything like ribs because of the mess, dove in. I'm going to try this method with pork ribs next time.

Creamy Potato and Leek Soup
A neighbor gave me some leeks, which I had never tasted before. I found this recipe and tried it, and it became one of my favorites. I added bulk Italian sausage to it, which added to the flavor. It's gotten rave reviews from my husband and friends!

Swedish Meatballs I
Used this recipe once before with success, didn't change anything except for using frozen, purchased meatballs. I suggested a stroganoff for dinner tonight and instead my husband asked for "that Swedish meatballs you made before." Thanks!! I agree with other reviewers: anyone finding this too sweet had to have been using sweetened condensed milk by mistake. Hint: if it pours out slowly, it's the wrong milk!
