Very smokey flavor; a little too much bacon though; the soup would taste good even without the bacon, or with just a few slices in it. Make sure you like a lot of spice with this recipe; you could tone the chili powder down a bit. Overall, very tasty and I would make this again!

Very moist and easy. Looked wonderful, was told it tastes almost like texas sheet cake. I would make it again!

Very good, you don't need to wait until it gets into a "ball", mine worked out ok when it was just thickened alot. Is good with regular white sugar, if you don't mind a gritty texture...if you do, definately use confectioners sugar.
