I am originally from the west coast. I am married with no children, and a hungry dog who lurks under foot when I cook. I like to cook to relieve stress as I have been a full time student and study a lot at home.

I enjoy cooking fish, and am always looking for restaurant quality recipes for seafood. I have been experimentng with fresh herbs and thai curries lately.

Easter bunny cookies with coconut marashino noses, and raisin eyes
Canned fruits with whip cream-yes this is really good from my grandmother.
Christmas eve cocktail buffets which I have taken on myself now. I do not have the perserverance to do the baking yet.

My cooking tragedies
I tried to make a chocolate cream pie, and wound up using 2 cartons of eggs to get enough whites for the meringue. Lesson learned: go slow when separating. Also, Dont accidentally dump all the yolks into the whites.
