This is the Chinese Steamed Bun stuffed w/shredded curry chicken, onions, potatoes, finely shredded cabbage & bell peppers. To save time I buy pre-bagged cole slaw & cut hasbrown potatoes. We're wild about plum sauce here, so that's the sauce you see in my pic!
Duration of first rise: 2.5 hours
Changes to recipe: Dough is very sticky so I added almost 3/4 cp extra flour after first rise.
Taste: Freakin' super yummy. Light, airy, w/slight chewiness.
Used baking powder but didn't use baking soda & dough has absolutely no sour taste. Also added lemon juice to dough + vinegar to boiling water.

Photography Notes: I use a Pentax k10 digi camera and I never use the flash. Turn on your kitchen light and grab a simple, pose-able crane neck desk lamp and you're on the high road to taking pictures that aren't "flash burned".
