Baking Powder Drop Biscuits
WOW. These were fantastic! I didn't have cream of tartar so I didn't use any. I substituted organic coconut oil for the shortening and lactose free/fat free milk with omega threes for the milk. I also cooked them for 4 minutes at 450 and 8 minutes at 400. They were perfect light and tender even plain. The family ate them with sausage gravy. They were just as easy as bisquick. I will be making my own from now on. I can't wait to try these as dumplings!

Baked Cod with Boursin Herb Cheese
Very good. The kids and husband hated it but they hate any fish that isn't battered and deep fried so I didn't expect anything different from them. I enjoyed it a lot. I made mine with Tilapia on a bed of spinach and used the light Boursin. I also served it with light pasta. I thought it was delish.

Absolute Best Liver and Onions
I have to eat liver a couple times because my B12 tanked along with my iron and the doctor is trying to raise it with some dietary changes and vitamins. I'm sure the recipe is fine so I gave it a four but I'm sorry. I was reallay hoping this recipe would make it better since i have to eat it but it didn't I made it with more expensive calves liver, rinsed it soaked it in milk a long time and cooked it as directed. I'll make it this way again because I have to eat it and it is a good recipe but there are no miracles when it comes to liver :o(
