Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Delicious. I did sear the meat first with olive oil, pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Then, poured the pan drippings into the crock pot. I used 2 cans of soup, a 1/2 can of water, the dried soup mix, and added a diced onion. Cooked the 3 lb roast on low for 7 hours, high for 1 hour. I added the carrots and quartered potatoes in 2 hours after the roast started -- they tasted perfect. After pulling meat and veges out, put two tablespoons of flour into crock pot and turned it on high to thicken gravy.
