I am a registered nurse living outside buffalo ny. I come from an italian family so I have been cooking since I was 7. I love to bake things, that is usually my favorite things to cook. If I am cooking it will usually be things like meatloaf, pasta, or some sort of chicken dish. My favorite cooking traditions are anything to do with christmas eve. Every year to this day, from sun up until dinner my whole family cooks dish after dish. Now that I am older it is what has made me love the holidays. But one holiday dish we always had it Italian wedding soup, its what mean holiday to me. My slouvaki. I can make better slouvaki and sauce better than anyone. People always say my meatloaf is pretty good too. When I was sick I tried to make oatmeal cookies, and I forgot to add any spices! It tasted like cement! Another time I tried to make homeade rootbeer in my celler and something happened cause we ALL got sick!!!!
