Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Very good but with these additions hence three stars. Added little bit of tomato paste to thicken, couple splashes of white wine, dash of hot pepper flakes, and use frank hot sauce. Oh, and added 5 cloves of garlic (sliced).

Asparagus Avocado Medley

I made this with spring lettuce instead of asparagus and it still turned out good. I definitely suggest blanching the zucchini as I hate raw zucchini.

Terrific Turkey Chili

Very good but needed little bit of salt in my opinion. I also added can of kidney and pinto beans (rinsed of course), and five cloves of garlic, and dash of chili powder. I browned my meat and threw everything in the slow cooker for 5 hours. Thank you for the recipe.

Spaghetti With Red Clam Sauce

I love red clam sauce so I was excited to find this recipe. However, I had to change few things to modify it to my personal taste. I also added white wine, tripled clams but only use 1/2 the juice and added small can of tomato paste to make the sauce little thicker. All in all very nice starter recipe.

Fast and Easy Tofu Lo-Mein

I thought this was pretty good with couple of changes hence, three stars. I added some cayenne pepper to spice it up a little and hardly used any of the ramen season packets. I also added couple of teaspoon of sesame oil. Veges I used were red pepper, onion, snap peas and celery and it turned out pretty good.

Hot and Spicy Tofu

Our whole family really enjoyed this. It's more like sweet and sour tofu. I also doubled the sauce to serve it over rice. Thank you for a great recipe.

Apple Crisp II

Just made this last night and boy was it good! I did however cut down on white, brown sugar by half and butter by 1/3 to make it healthier and I thought it was perfect! And yes, I did double the topping as well.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

This was sooooo good! I have never made pork chops so I was pretty excited to try it. This recipe didn't disappoint me at all. I did however tripled the sauce, toasted my pecans and baked it like others have suggested.

Hawaiian Sweet Bread

DO NOT use the bread machine to knead this because I tried it and it is way too full to even mix. Other than that the taste of the bread was very good! I will try to follow the recipe next time.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

I have never made a lemon meringue pie before so I was little nervous about it but, this pie is fool proof and absolutely DELICIOUS! I followed the recipe as is. Thank you for a great recipe.
