Molasses Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
Fantastic-used 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup brown sugar. Used 1 1/2 teaspoons each of cloves and ginger. Cooked for 11 minutes-Crispy outside and chewy on the inside. Wonderful recipe. This is a keeper.

Chicken and Artichokes

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
This was fantastic. Doubled up on sauce-and used half broth and half sherry. Added grated garlic and one-half chopped onion. Didn't have any rosemary-so I used Thyme and italian seasoning. Don't forget the bread-YOU WILL WANT TO DUNK.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
This recipe got rave reviews from my family. My husband hates "baked chicken"-he says it tastes slimey-but this was a big YES! So easy, I used a cut up regular fryer-Highly recommend trying.

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2004
WUNDERBAR!!!!!I consider myself a pretty cook cook-but there are two items I fail at EVERY time. Pancakes and Lemon Meringue Pie. I get the Meringue Part right-its the Filling that gets me. This was my fourth try at my husband's favorite dessert. First time I made it with Jello Pie Filling-it worked but nothing to write home about. We will not discuss the second or third try. Fortunately, I came across this recipe. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Not only did it turn out great tasting, it was so beautiful I had a hard time cutting it. Easy-tasty and gorgeous. I used milk instead of water and I used 1/2 lemon juice and three lemons. Perfect. My only problem was-what I was supposed to do when I took it out of the oven. After searching All recipes for about one half hour-I came across something similar to this pie-which instructed to leave away from draft. No time-so I just put it on counter for 1 1/2 hours and then in the fridge for another hour. It was slightly warm still-but OH MY GOODNESS-Heaven. Now I am in search of the perfect pie crust....

Rita's Sweet Holiday Baked Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2004
OOOOOOHHHHHHHH is this good. My family ate and ate this great ham. We were not sure of how many people would be here-so we bought a whole ham that weighed 17 pounds. Used the recipe as is and had plenty of sauce. I did open the bag after 2 hours and brushed the ham with the sauce. Took longer because of the size-but it was so moist and tender and tasty. I will never make a ham any other way. I also followed the advice of using the sauce for a gravy. Just add corn starch and boil. This was so great it deserves a five plus plus stars. Thanks for the great recipe.

Romantic Chicken with Artichokes and Mushrooms

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2004
This is so GOOOOOODDDD!!!! I cut up the chicken breasts so all pieces get drenched in this yummy sauce. I also use a can of artichokes and add some italian dressing and let them sit for a few hours to marinate. This is so easy-I highly recommend.

JIF® Peanut Butter Bunny Crisp Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2004
This is adorable and super easy and fun to make. It was a large hit last year-and will now become a family tradition. One bad thing-everyone wants a bunny ear. Highly recommend...

Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats Peter Cottontail

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2004
I made this recipe up last year and it was so much fun. It was very easy to assemble and very tasty too. The only problem is everyone wanted the bunny ears. I highly recommend especially if you will be with children-you will be the hit of the party.
