I cook because I think everyone should have a well-balanced meal. I have four children (one girl and three boys) and they come home to a cooked meal everyday. My mom always had a meal awaiting us when we came home from school and I learned this from her. My Mom and Grandmom instilled coooking into me from as far back as I can remember. My favorite cooking experiences is when my twin sister and I get together and cook for the whole family. I love to cook soul food. I love to cook everything from scatch. What I receive rave reviews on is my Macaroni and Cheese and Chess Pie. My family gets together every holiday to commune and sup. The ones that are in close proximity to one another, we like to get together on Sunday after church and eat and spend the day together. I finally learned, after 36 years, how to prepare a turkey and dressing. Halleujah!! I was boiling some eggs and let the water boil out of the pot. The eggs were black and stuck to the bottom of the pot.
