Simply wonderful recipe!!! This was going to be my fist attempt at a cheesecake so I did a trial run as I wanted to make sure I was sucessful for Christmas. First time was amazing no cracks with using a water bath and following other instructions completely. For Christams I used a full sleeve of graham crackers a couple of Tbs of sugar and 4Tbs butter. I made a caramel sauce and poured 2/3 over the crust. Sprinkle about a cup of chopped pecans over the caramel. POured all but 1 1/2 cups of batter into pan.I melted about 1/2 chocolate chips and combined 2/3 in the reserved batter. Swirled into pan. Using heavy duty foil you could tear a sheet that turned sideways so I didn't have an edge in the water to stop any leaks. I did double the foil for a thicker covering. After pulling it out of the oven at the recommended time. I used the reserved (reheated) caramel and chocolate chips to drizzle over the top with a few pecans. Just georgous!!!
