these cookies are awesome. i added the suggested extra cup of sugar, and an extra teaspoon of vanilla extract, as well as some almond extract, and they turned out great. a tad sweet though. next time i'll use only half a cup extra sugar. the dough was extremely easy to work with, not at all sticky, i didn't even have to flour the counter. very easy to roll out and work with. i'll definitely make these again.

Awesome! So easy to make,and my picky husband couldn't stop eating and went for the leftovers later that night. I will make this one over and over.

Wow, this was absolutely excellent!! It was so easy, and yet it tasted like something from a fancy restaurant. Actually, our neighbor said it was better than the lasagna he had at an italian restaurant. I had never made lasagna before, and this was extremely easy, although it's quite a bit of work. It helps to make it a day in advance, that way you can take your time fixing it. I think the sauce would be really good with spaghetti too, will try that next time. This recipe is a definite keeper.
