About this Cook
Born and Raised in New Zealand and lived in NJ USA for 4 years. Loved cooking from and early age and since living in USA have loved making typical USA dishes such as key lime pie or buffalo wings and introducing them to my Kiwi friends> I Am also very fond of Italian cuisine, Indian and Japanese
My favorite things to cook
Key Lime Pie. Eggplant Parmigiana Baked Ziti Lasagna Samosas Cinnamon scented Basmati rice. Chocolate Caramel Slice Chocolate fudge
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every time there is a family get together it's always a pot luck affair so everyone shares the cooking and clean up. I keep trying to change it to intimate dinner party affairs but so far nobody is buying! lol.
My cooking triumphs
My not-so-secret recipe for chocolate caramel slice. That pudding was pure genius! I won first prize for a dessert baking contest at the Kiwi Club of New York annual summer picnic. I submitted my Pavlova recipe!
My cooking tragedies
Cake! I just can't get a really good chocolate cake. Mine always turn out dry.

Korean Sushi
This recipe was given me by my dear friend Sunyoung (spelling) who was an exchange student from Korea who taught me how to make it. So i can honestly say that this recipe IS AUTHENTIC!!!

Mom's Pumpkin Pie
I find this makes two pies, I use a graham cracker store brought crust and it's just marvlous. This was the 1st pumpkin pie i ever ate, and I introduced it to my nanna, and now she is hooked too.

Chocolate Pie I
I use 1/2 cup less sugar in the chocolate custard, as the sweetness is just too extrime, and the less sugar makes it much more plesent.
