I am married to Jim for almost 14 years. I have 2 children and 2 grandchildred. I love cooking and I get all my recipes from allrecipes.People think I am a good cook and I tell them that I don't bother with recipe books any more.I tell them where they can find the best recipes on line. I also love reading and counted cross stitch and my newest love,crocheting. My favorite thing to cook is the roast recipe,no matter who I make it for everyone always loves it. I come from a family of great cooks. I guess my favorite would be Thanksgiving and christmas.ON Christmas morning we go to my daughters and my son-in-law cooks breakfast for the family. Then my daugher and I prepare lunch. We have so much fun. I love to cook for a party.I like to make as many pretty and good tasting dishes as I can. Now I am enjoying teaching my 11 yr.old grandaughter to cook. She loves it and says she wants to be a chef. Her birthday was yesterday and we made three differnet cakes. We had a ball decorating them. I have had my share of tragedies.Once a long time ago I made a lemon meringue pie and the meringue slid off of it before I got mo my aunts house.My uncle still teases me about that and it happened 30yrs ago.lol
