About this Cook
Well, lets see, I'm a mother of 3..And have been married for 10 (almost 11)years. And we love to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I love to be able to feed my family with good wholesome foods..(not always healthy..But good none the less..lol)
My favorite things to cook
Sweets!!lol I love to cook good beans, ham, stews, salmon has to be my favorite to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking for the holidays..!! It's a time to get together and have a great feast! Oh and every Saturday we get together with friends and grill and cook..Great things happen that's for sure!
My cooking triumphs
Cheesecake!! and Beans..lol good seasoned beans are hard to make but I can say I have out done myself now for about a year..They keep getting better and better..And the cheesecakes have too.. I think the biggest triumph is that I don't need a recipe..I take one and altar it until it's perfect..
My cooking tragedies
Bean were my tragedy..I always burned them no matter what..slow cooker is a big help. =)

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
I made this last night and it was wonderful. I did use the orginal recipe as a base and added to it to taylor our tastes. I doubled the recipe and used 4c of chicken broth (instead of the boullion) 2 1/2c water, added about a cup of shred cheddar cheese to the thickener, green onion tops, and a dolip of sour cream as garnish. I was very pleased. Thank you.

World's Best Lasagna
I have to say this was wonderful. I cannot believe I made my own sauce, that is the best part. Next time I am going to switch is provalone instead of the mozzarella, hubby asked.
