This recipe was pretty good. I only fried the chicken about 5 minutes before putting it in the baking dish, and it still took exactly 30 minutes to bake afterward. The chicken was very moist and could easily be cut with a fork. I didn't have fresh parsley so I added dried parsley to the coating mix. I also omitted the lemon slices as I was out of lemons after trying to get 2 c. fresh juice for the marinade. I wish the sauce had thickened more; I like my lemon chicken saucy. I think when making this recipe again, I will make a second batch of the sauce to top the chicken with, but boil it on the stove to thicken.

Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

This salad is always a big hit when I take it to parties. I usually make it the day ahead, then make another half batch of the dressing which I put on about half and hour before serving. That way you get better flavor but don't risk the pasta being hard when you serve it.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

I've made this recipe twice now and it has completely disappeared both times. The only change I made was that I mixed in 1/2 tsp. garlic powder instead of roasting garlic. That and I didn't read the directions correctly and mixed everything together in a bowl before baking instead of layering. I served it in a bread bowl and even the bowl got eaten!

Mississippi Six

This was a hit at my last party. I'm terrified of dried meat, so I substituted 3/4 c. taco-seasoned cooked ground beef for the dried beef and omitted the Worcestershire sauce. I will make this recipe again.

Shepherd's Pie

So creamy and delicious, especially with shredded cheddar on top. This is a great make-ahead dish I leave for my husband when I have to go out of town for business. The leftovers are great!

Easier Chicken Marsala

This was an excellent recipe. I too thought it needed more mushrooms but I thought the flavor of the chicken (and the mushrooms!) was excellent. My roommate was not quite as impressed, he gave it a four, as did my fiance who doesn't like mushrooms or care much for wine.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

A good recipe. I didn't taste as much lime flavor as I wanted, and I added the juice of a whole lime instead of half. Next time I will use more lime. My roommate also rated this a 4.

Beef Stroganoff III

I tried to think of a more eloquent way to put this, but I'm at a loss for better words, so... WOW!!! This recipe was absolutely delicious! I have never eaten a better beef stroganoff. I highly recommend this recipe exactly as it is!

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Amazingly awful! A spectacular culinary disaster! This recipe was so bad it doesn't even warrant one star, but they don't allow negative stars in this rating system. I would warn anyone considering making this to reconsider carefully. There are a lot of great macaroni and cheese recipes on allrecipes, this just isn't one of them.

Pasta/Pizza Sauce

The sauce was good as a pizza sauce, but does not stand alone. At all. If you're looking for pizza sauce, use this recipe, but if you're looking for pasta sauce, look somewhere else.

Beer Cake I

I first tried this recipe about four years ago, and it's become a favorite request in our house. If you have issues with tasting the beer, try using diet cream soda. For a friend who doesn't approve of alcohol, I made this recipe using diet vanilla cream soda. It turned out great and prevented the usual slight banana flavor I get when using a light beer. The cream soda is especially good with white cake mix and white chocolate pudding. The best thing about this recipe is how versatile it is. Thanks for a great recipe!
