I'm a family woman. I love my God and my family. Pasties and oven pancakes Christmas Cookies I have been blessed with a truly wonderful mother in law. She has taken the time and interest to show me how to be a better mom and a cook (don't get me wrong I absolutely love my own mother but she is not the best cook). My husbands favorite breakfast is Munukakuwa (oven pancake). It's finnish and it was hard for me to master. So the day that I actually pulled my pancake out of the oven and it was light and fluffy was a great triumph for me. Making munukakuwa is actually a tragedy for me also. It use to be very chunky instead of light and fluffy. I would also burn it a lot. My other tragedy is pasties. And it still is hard to master. I just recently learned that you don't cook the meat ahead of time. So at least I am on my way to mastering this. Now if I can only master the dough.
