Banana Trifle

I didn't have time to make whipped cream so I used cool whip instead. I also omitted the wafers because I thought they would get soggy. I only had vanilla and cheesecake pudding mixes (mix-up at the store) so I used those....it was delicious! Not too sweet-just perfect! Thanks for the simple recipe!

Two Minute Peanut Brittle

something went wrong and it was too thick and didn't really harden...just stayed sticky. EDIT:I stuck it outside for a bit (cold here) and it hardened and cracked :-) its still a bit sticky vs crunchy when you eat it though.

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

YUM! was super leery of using just mayo so I added a 1/3 of a block of cream cheese and also a crushed garlic clove. SO good! Don't think it would have needed the cream cheese, but it's still good :-) may add some crushed red pepper flakes next time (or to the tub that went into the freezer) for a little kick.

Way Easy Pizza Sauce/Bread Stick Dip

YUM! I used this as a base recipe and modified it for what I had on hand (stewed tomatoes vs paste & sauce) and doubled the spices and also added basil. I didn't have parsley wither but so far this is THE best sauce recipe I've made! Thanks!!

Layered Salad

The only thing I did differently was to replace the waterchestnuts with small chunks of cucumber and used a red onion...this was amazing! I made it for a potluck and there was nothing left over to take home! It was my first attempt at a layered salad and this is totally a keeper recipe!

Country Banana Bread

I'm giving this a 4 because it was so quick and easy, but the taste wasn't that great...it was kind of bitter, so I wonder if it was the mix I used or maybe it needed a little something more, like vanilla...I'm not ruling this out though...I always have bananas and this really was simple and it turned out very moist even though I cut the oil to 1/2 cup.

Basil Tomato Soup

This was really easy to make and very good! Not exactly like my favorite restaurant one, but way better than canned tomato! :-) I didn't have the cream so used skim milk so it wasn't very creamy...and didn't have the crushed tomatoes so I "made" some with the canned diced and stewed I had (reminder to use the blender next time...not the food processor!) I think the little bit of celery and onion in the canned tomatoes gave it an interesting flavor too. definitely a keeper!

Fried Onion Rings

WOW!! This was my first time ever making inion rings and they are awesome!! I only used 2 onions, but they were the vadalia's. I did half exactly as written and the other half shaken in flour first. The only difference was that the floured ones browned where the others only got slightly golden. They tasted exactly the same though. AWESOME recipe!!!! I ate half of them while cooking! ;-) THANKS for a great recipe!!

Krystal's Perfect Marinade for BBQ or Grilled Chicken

Creamy Fruit Fluff

looks like a recipe a friend's mom used to make only she used apricot baby food. I am going to make this version for a school picnic tomorrow :-) EDIT:Not sure what happened but it separated and was not creamy and fluffy :-( tasted good, but no one took any because it looked kind of gross
