Bow Tie Pasta with Sausage and Sweet Peppers

Eh. This is not enough liquid. Like some other reviewers mentioned, I added minced onion and garlic. Used hot Ital sausage. I added 1 cup of beef stock. But, it needs more flavor. Needs more liquid. Maybe a wine reduction?

Amish Sugar Cookies

These cookies were delicious. I added a teasp of lemon extract and a bit more sugar to the dough (as was noted by other reviewers). I also lemon glaze and sprinkles (for my kids) to the cooling cookies. Big hit! I will add these to my holiday cookie trays.

Swanson® Black Bean, Corn and Turkey Chili

Skillet Ham and Rice

This is very fast and a great way to use leftover holiday ham. I did add the garlic powder and cumin, as other reviewers suggested. I used yellow peppers instead of mushrooms. Also, we added chinese noodles on top for an extra crunch. It was great.

Sausage Pasta

Just made this dish and really enjoyed it. I used asparagus instead of spinach, and added a dash of red wine (as was suggested by others). I used Italian seasoning, instead of just basil. This was deeeee-lish!

Thai Chicken with Basil Stir Fry

This was delicious. I used a whole can of coconut milk and added two spoonfuls of sugar, bell pepper, baby corn and water chestnuts. We'll definitely be making this again.

Flavorful Beef Stir-Fry

Very easy. In the meat marinade, I also added garlic powder and a bit of ginger. Once the meat was in the wok, I added beef broth and a small amount of rice vinegar. It was very quick and easy!

Cinnamon Bread I

This bread was excellent. I did take the advice of other reviewers and mixed wet and dry ingredients separately. I also tripled the topping ingredients but didn't use it all. Overall, very tasty and just the right amount of sweetness and cinnamon flavor.

Cashew Chicken I

This is a dynamite recipe. I'm not a big coconut fan, and I still loved it. I also did chicken strips instead of whole breasts and I took the review advice of using sweetened coconut and salted cashews. Yum! Be prepared to eat this as soon as it comes out of the oven. If you let it sit, the coating will get soft and a bit soggy. I left them in the oven with the heat off until I was ready to serve up.

Turkey Pot Pie I

This recipe rocks! It's so easy, and incredibly delicious. We add a bit of cayenne pepper, for a bit of heat. We've made it twice already since Thanksgiving.
