This is a great, basic roll recipe. I like that it uses all purpose flour because I can never seem to remember to buy bread flour. It's also nice to not need one more item to take up space in my already small home. I don't use a bread machine when I make this. I set the eggs out for a couple hours to warm. Then I place the warm water, warm milk and sugar in a bowl. Dissolve the sugar and then add the yeast and let it proof. Then I add the eggs, butter, salt and flour. Mix well with my hands and put it in a greased bowl, turning once to coat, then cover with towel and let it rise. After one hour (or after it doubles) I punch it down and roll into three small balls per muffin slot and make cloverleaf rolls. I let them rise another hour and then bake. Yummy and they go really fast around here so I bake a double batch which gives me approx. 48 cloverleaf rolls.
