About this Cook
I am married and have two children, a boy and a girl. I work full-time as a project manager for an IT outsourcing company.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake and have started really enjoying candy making around the holidays. My speciality is toffee.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving dinner - my husband smokes the turkey and my daughter and I make the rest. She does the sweet potatoes and the pumpkin pies and I do the green beans, corn, and pecan pies. Together we make the rolls.

Beignets
Very close to Cafe Du Monde beignets and very easy to prepare. (Much better than the mix they sell at Cafe Du Monde.) Now I have something to hold me over until the next time I get to New Orleans! Thank you.

Vanilla Ice Cream
Very good, very fast, very easy - this was my daughter's first experience making homemade ice cream and we both loved it. As for the people worried about fat content, ice cream probably should not be on your menu. Can't wait to try it with chocolate chips!

Margaritas on the Rocks
Excellent - but be warned, they do hit you fast.
