I have not been on much lately.  I pop in and out sometimes.  The Dr is still trying to find the right "cocktail" of meds for my ADD/Bipolar.  (He said yesterday it may be Treatment Resistance Depression; TRD - if you add a "u" in there, I think thats what it should be called!… MORE

Butter Pound Cake
I've been looking for a pound cake recipe just like this for a while now. I got to where I did not like my old one anymore but this, now this is a keeper. Even 5 days later still great maybe better. Thanks, Diana Moore for the recipe!

Barbequed Pork Ribs
The last ribs I made many, many years ago were tough. We always had them out. Decided I'd try them again. Thawed 4 lbs of ribs overnight. Made a brine of salt & brown sugar. Brined ribs in cold water for 5 hrs. Boiled 1 hr. Sauced and refriderated for 2 hrs. Grilled about 30 mins. Delish-the only thing I'd change would be use my husbands recipe for BBQ sauce. His is better. You might want to add a dash or two of Tabasco sauce for a little kick. Overall a good recipe.

Sweet Candied Orange and Lemon Peel
I don't know what I expected. I followed directions including some suggestions. I brought the peel from cold water to boiling four times. I let it boil 5 min.s each time. So not very different from the recipe of boiling 20 min.s.There was no bitter taste at all. I left the peel in the simple syrup for quite a while and it coated very good. I put my sugar to dust the candy with in the food processer and had very fine sugar. Dried out over night on DR table...looked beautiful. However no one liked it and no one ate it! I hate to give bad reviews. I am giving this a 4 b/c I think it turned out well. It just wasn't liked by the people at my house. Sorry
