Any bad ratings for this recipe are totally unsubstantiated! If you want traditional pancakes then look for a different recipe. This one is the perfect German pancake, the way I remember it from childhood.

Caramel Popcorn

Love, love love this stuff! I used macadamia nuts and pecan halves because that is what I had on hand. I will surely make this again and again and maybe peanuts next time. THANKS!

Easy Mexican Casserole

Be as Mexican as you want here, I mean use pinto beans and Chiuaua (mexican) cheese... The possibilities are endless with this great idea for a casserole! I strongly suggest freshly chopped cilantro here, YUM!

Hash Brown Casserole II

There are many versions of this recipe but I think this one is best. I will use fine bread crumbs and drizzle butter over the top if I don't have corn flakes on hand and it's just as good.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

I was suggested this recipe at the Recipe Exchange here at the site and I am so glad I did it! I didn't have any heavy cream and so I used 1/2 & 1/2 as so many did in the reviews and it worked great. I also added almost a cup of parmesan cheese that I was surprised I didn't see much of in the reviews for alteration and I would do it again, delish! It's a keeper, thanks all!

Kentucky Butter Cake

I baked this recipe in a 9X13 pan and cut it up for a trifle. Talk about delicious! Very moist and flavorful. The possibilities are endless with this recipe!

Emily's Famous Hash Browns

This recipe deserves 5 stars. I think the egg really helps do the trick here. My potatoes were baked and refridgerated over night before I shredded them so I didn't use much flour, just a sprinkle but they held up nicley and browned beautifully!

White Chocolate Chunk Pecan Cookies

This ccokie deserves the 5 stars. I too added more white chocolate but I'm sure they would be great just as the recipe states because it's the buttery crunch that does it for me. I may try macadamia nuts next time. I will add this to my recipe box for sure. Thanks!

Pastry Cream

Yeast Dumplings

Very good recipe. I too added some sauted chopped onion, celery and carrots along with leftover baked chicken. I also threw in some baby peas and a little fresh sage and parsley I had on hand at the end. A very comforting meal on this cold winter day. Thanks, I will keep this one.

Katy's Scalloped Corn

The brand of creamed corn will make a huge difference in the result of any scalloped corn recipe. I always use Del Monte and always have great success with a nice creamy consistency, good flavor and no watery separation.

Pecan Pie III

As for the flour/butter alteration dispute, it is how you add it that will make the difference in the result. I dissolved the flour in the melted butter before mixing into the rest of the ingredients and my pie was velvety rich, smooth and delicious. If you want to impress them at Thanksgiving, this is the one!
