Navy Bean Stew
Hubby raved about this dish! He was truly HAPPY having it leftover!! We all enjoyed this dish. The only changes I made were adding a stalk of celery chopped up, 1/2 cup of white wine and 1/2 pkg. of Uncle Wiley's Bean & Pea seasoning. (This is a Southern thing, I think.) THANKS for a great recipe!

Zippy Shepherd's Pie
We loved this! I did use half ground beef and half ground lamb.(It's not really "Shepherd's pie" unless you use lamb.) The 14 oz. beef broth was a little too much -- I ended up using two teaspoons (double) of cornstarch to thicken it up. I will increase the potatoes next time too. Hubby and kids LOVED IT!! Thanks!

Loosemeat Sandwiches III
I've made this several times as written and it is wonderful. Hubby specifically requested it tonight, and I made using other combined reviewer's suggestions - using beef broth and Coke to simmer the meat. Hubby LOVED IT!! He is a Chicago native and he KNOWS his food! He's also a great cook. He went back for seconds AND thirds! I also added onion and garlic to the meat as it was browning. This is definately a KEEPER!
