A Fantastic Margarita

planned on making this for superbowl party and just could not get it to taste right- even my DH thought it was just off. ending up making tradional margaritas. just not fantastic for us

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

This was good. Used seasoned chicken broth (garlic) and omitted the basil (since I had none). Also used parmesean, romano, & asiago cheese blend. Will make again!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Great soup and so easy to make- made a couple of changes for personal preference. Used two cans cream of chicken soup (as others suggested)and 1 can chicken broth. Omitted the black beans and used ro*tel spicy cilantro and lime. Added pinch of cumin, chili powder and garlic powder. Also used a precooked chicken from grocery store. Made the night before and took to pot luck-reheated well in crock pot. Nice creamy soup!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

this turned out great! Really good and really really easy. Used a 3lb pork roast cooked on low for 8 hrs- shredded when i got home from work-kept a little of the broth to keep moist and added 1/2 bottle of cattlemen's bbq sauce! a keeper..

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Made this for a work pot luck- turned out really well. Doubled the cream and butter (used low fat versions of both) took another reviewer suggestions and made this as a dip rather then a ball. Also used graham cracker sticks--girls at work said it taste like choc chip cheesecake!

This was good- it is kind of on the sweet side for me. My husband thought it was just okay. I used boneless pork chops- maybe it is better on tenderloin?-will try again and maybe tweak a little.

Grilled Chicken with Herbs

This was just okay for me. The marinade smelled wonderful, but the taste lacked something. I even used the suggestions of adding the red pepper flakes and cutting down on the balsamic. My husband said it was "different".

Fired Up Southwest Fajitas

These were good-even the husband thought so. I used chicken strips rather then steak-still tasted great. Also used the seasoning as a rub rather then a marinade. I just drizzled olive oil on the chicken-did the same with the veggies-yummy!

Garlic Ranch Chicken

tried this out since my husband and I both love ranch ... tasted good. However, I guess I was looking for more ranch flavor then it had --I did marinate for at least 4 hours. Next time will use ranch packet and make a marinade. The chicken did taste good and will make again with modifications.
