About this Cook
Together with my husband, I own a small artisan wood fired pizza and bread establishment. We live next door to a commercial vinyard and winery, so we get a lot of traffic from the vinyard. (Buy your wine, and enjoy it with our pizza. We live on 100 acres in the North Texas Hill country. Beautiful place1
My favorite things to cook
Breads and baked goods.

Ed Zieba's Famous Family Pork Chops
For those afraid of using too much seasoned salt, try an unsalted spice seasoning mixture so that you can add the spice without the salt. Then, everyone can salt to taste. A very good recipe to prepare and forget...until its ready to eat.

Good 100% Whole Wheat Bread
I bake artisan breads for a living in a wood fired brick oven. But sometimes I like to use my inside oven. I ground the wheat I used in this recipe, and did also add 1/4 cup vital wheat gluten per others suggestions. Other than that this is a very good recipe and turned out great. Five Stars all the way--very easy recipe if one follows the instructions!

Strawberry Muffins
Muffins baked up fluffy and moist. Batter is a good base for other fruit such as blueberries and apples. I will not buy "boxed" muffin mixes again.
