About this Cook
Together with my husband, I own a small artisan wood fired pizza and bread establishment. We live next door to a commercial vinyard and winery, so we get a lot of traffic from the vinyard. (Buy your wine, and enjoy it with our pizza. We live on 100 acres in the North Texas Hill country. Beautiful place1
My favorite things to cook
Breads and baked goods.

Quick Yeast Rolls
**I feel I have to re-rate this recipe as to cancel out the ratings of a couple of recent "experts" First of all do not rate a recipe that you have changed--this is not beneficial for the original recipe. Secondly, in response to a couple of recent "expert" postings--this is a "quick yeast bread" recipe so it is DESIGNED to be a little wetter--DO NOT add additional flour to this recipe. Thirdly, this is NOT a bread machine recipe--this recipe is meant to be made the "Old Fashioned" way and the EXPERT who claimed her precious yeast was "Waisted" if the recipe is followed as directed then no ingredient will be WASTED! This is an exceptionally easy and wonderfully delicious recipe. The rolls bake up light, fluffy, and slightly sweet and yeasty. I would kindly like to remind those whose gave a lower rating because of the dough texture--This dough will be more like a STIFF BATTER and not like typical bread or roll dough--so it will not be able to be shaped into balls, etc. A very good and easy recipe just the same!

The Best Oatmeal Cookies
A very good oatmeal cookie recipe. I made mine with cranberries instead of raisins. But delicious all the same. For those who gave it less than five stars may I recommend first of all rating the recipe based on the original recipe. If you alter it and get less than stellar results--it is not the recipe's fault its the one making and changing the recipe! Most of the less than 5 stars rated it as such because of their shortcomings not this recipe. Very good--the cookies were gone the night I made them!

Chicken with Lemon-Caper Sauce
This is a wonderful recipe! I sauteed mushrooms and fresh spinach as the end of cooking the chicken, and added a cup of marinated artichokes to the sauce at the end. The results where heavenly. Great recipe!
