Hi there - love to cook to get the stress out of my life. Appetizers, Lunch, Supper, Big Crowd foods - baking is fun too, but I've never quite gotten down the technique of pie crust. My mother taught me to use salt and pepper - thats it! My mother in law taught me to use salt, pepper, onion power, oregano, garlic, etc.!! So I try everything new and if it goes that night, then its a keeper! Baking isn't my strong suit, although I did bake my own wedding cake with a carrot cake recipe off of this site as well as a frosting recipe off of this site! Not too many - if I get the recipes from this site, I usually know I'm good to go!! Thanks everyone!
