World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
I knew I really liked this recipe when I realized that I kept snacking on the lasagna. I even liked it cold. Wouldn't change a thing. Next time I'm going to double the recipe and freeze it. I was able to freeze a little of it this time and when I thawed it and ate it, I think it was even better, if that is possible.

Italian Cream Cake II

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
Fabulous! I made this for a small get together with some friends. Since there weren't many of us, I didn't want to make a whole cake, so I made 1/2 the recipe. The batter all fit in 1 9" round and cooked perfectly. I cut the round in half and frosted it as a 2 layer cake. Everyone loved it...and as I had hoped, there were no left overs!

Mushroom Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
This recipe is very quick and easy. It's also very tasty. I've made it a couple of times now. It doesn't have a "wow" factor, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, but it is great comfort food.

Cheddar Chipotle Bread on a Pizza Stone

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
OMG! So good. I loved it right out of the oven, but toasted is excellent, too! I added more flour when I was kneading in the chipotle in adobo because it got very sticky, but other than that, I did not change a thing. I also left the seeds in. It has a kick, but not to much.

Tangy Cucumber and Avocado Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2007
I wasn't sure about this recipe, but I wanted something different to use up the cukes from my garden. It turned out really good! I followed the recipe just as it is. It was good the next day, too. Next time I may take some suggestions from other reviewers and add tomatoes and/or cumin. I served it with Jalapeno Chicken from this site.

Tres Leches 'Three Milks'

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2007
One word: Incredible!! I substituted coconut milk for the evaporated milk, as suggested by someone else. I frosted it with Cool Whip and sprinkled toasted coconut over the top. Then I garnished with large strawberries cut in half. My guests loved it and were amazed when I told them how easy it was to make! This is a new favorite with me!

Olive Cheese Melts

Very good. A little salty...I will leave the extra salt out next time. I served on 1/2 English muffin with a slice of fresh tomato on the bottom. I also froze the left over mixture. I did fine in the freezer. Next time I will freeze it in ice cube trays so I can thaw just what I need.

Tasty Tender Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2006
Like someone else said, this sounded strange, but I was looking for some new ideas for pork tenderloin. We loved this! My pork was just over 2.5lbs, so I doubled the dressing (I used Ken's Rusian Dressing) and the onion soup, but based on other's ideas, I did not double the honey. I served with Cowboy Mashed Potatoes from this website. The sause from the pork was good on them, too!

Very good...especially the next day. I used less pepper as suggested, but my boyfriend added more at the table!

Southern Living Magazine's Chicken-Fried Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2006
This is a great recipe! My boyfriend had never had this before, but I lived in TX for a number of years, so I've had it many times. I was so happy to see it looked and tasted just like it was supposed to! He loved it. I used veggie oil and did not heat it as high as called for because I used a nonstick pan. It still turned out perfect and did not take long to cook. The gravy did take a little while, though. Be patient, it will get thick!

Tomato Cucumber Salad with Mint

This salad is excellent. My boyfriend thought it looked like something you would get in a restaurant. I also used less mint and I didn't have enough big tomatoes from my garden so I substitued some grape tomatoes...very good!

Frozen Mojito

This is a great recipe! I also just put the mint in the blender with everything else...no problem. I put the leftovers (when there are some) in a bowl in the freezer. Then all I have to do is scoop out some the next time!

Decadent Pumpkin Muffins

Like the other reviewer stated, the muffins were rubbery the day I baked them. However, the next day they were great! I have several people asking for the receipe. This is just one of those receipes that is better the next day.

I though this might be alittle bland, but boy was I wrong! There is just enough flavor with the breading on the chicken. So quick to make and so good to eat!

Blueberry Cream Slushy

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2004
I've made this recipe three or four times in the last two weeks. It is so good I can't get enough! If you have some left over, put it in the freezer. Then thaw it out for an hour or so and put it back in the blender when you want a quick treat. It's just as good left over!
