Thai-Style Chicken with Noodles

Bland. That was all my family had to say about it. It had a good creamy base that can be altered to each individuals taste. We will be using curry pastes next time.

Miracle Baking Powder Pie Crust

I don't know if my expectations were too high or not, but I didn't find this fabulous. It's a different recipe that I thought would be different, but it is pretty much the same. It is easy to work with as others have said.

Bacon Chicken II

This is an average meal. Nothing spectacular, but it is tender with flavor. It is quick and easy to cook and that has made this part of my regular meal plan.

Greek Bifteki

This was really enjoyable. I followed the recipe for the most part. Added a little bit of allspice and onion powder. Used earlier feedback to use oregano. Also, had crumbled feta on hand and mixed it in with the beef mixture. Hubby cooked it slowly on the grill. I made jasmine rice to go with it and tzaziki sauce. Was a wonderful mixture off the bun. Kids enjoyed them on the buns with a variety of toppings. This is a keeper.

Homemade Egg Noodles

As I was making these I was singing the praises of boxed noodles. I hate to make noodles. No patience. But, sometimes you have to have homemade for the recipe. A reminder to those who are reading some of the other review, you HAVE to adjust homemade noodle recipes. Every home has different humidity, so be prepared and don't blame the recipe. Thanks for posting this one, it was nice to not have to call mom...again...to ask her for her recipe.

Greek Style Potatoes

This was delish! I took the advice of a previous review and slightly cooked the potatoes before hand. The only other difference was I used a fresh lemon that had 1/3 cup of juice in it. Waste not want not and all. Will definately make this again.

Grilled Beer Chicken

I enjoyed making this. Smelled wonderful while cooking. One thing about it, the recipe says GENEROUSLY and that is exactly what it means. Do not be afraid to put a lot on. Mine was underseasoned and I put more on than normal. Will over do it next time.

Sausage Balls

Mmmm. Yummy. Albeit, this is the first time I have ever had sausage balls. That's why the 4*, nothing to compare it to. But, I don't think I need to go looking elsewhere. Yummy and easy. My kind of dish!! =)

Tarragon Chicken Casserole

This is a great busy day meal. I cook the chicken using the Moist Garlic Chicken recipe that is also on this site. This also freezes well. Reheat at 350 for 35-45 minutes. I like to keep one of these on hand for others. New moms, those who have had surgery, etc.

Tzatziki Sauce

Yummy. My mother in law always uses just sour cream and cucs. After seeing this recipe, I now use 1/2 SC and 1/2 yogurt. And I LOVE the dill in it. I also skip the oil and leave the seeds. Lazy I guess:) Great for gyros, grape leaves, naan, anything that has a mediteranian(sp?) or middle eastern flair to it.

Slow Cooker Ham

This was very tasty. I will cut down the sugar next time as it was too sweet for us. The only thing keeping this from a 5 star is you can't make a good gravy to go with the mashed potatoes.

Bunjal Chicken

**update: Tonight I remade this. First I cut the chicken into parts. Then I put them in a roasting bag with the sauce and cooked close to an hour. The flavors married much better and was very tasty. This recipe definately isn't a 3, but not quite a 4 either, although very close. The fragrant aroma in my home was absolutely wonderful. The chicken just didn't quite grab it. But, it is definately worth trying again.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

I absolutely HATE!!!! cooking with green peppers. But, since the rest of my family enjoys them, I begrudgingly tried this recipe. I am so glad I did. This is very tasty. A hit all around. It is now in my regular rotation of meals. YUMMMM

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak II

This is a great and simple meal. Tender, juicy, tasty. Now a regular meal for my table. Not sure how the bad reviewers screwed up this meal. (overly salty being the exception) If you don't usually salt your meals, definately leave out the extra salt. But as a salt-a-holic myself, it was just salty enough. Don't over cook the meat in the browning process and you'll do just fine.

Allison's Pasta Salad

I had to make a couple of changes. My son hates mayo so I used salad dressing instead. I also did not have any dijon mustard on hand. I replaced that with hot mustard. Doubled sauce and used a 12 oz box of penne (not sure what that measures out to cup wise) and tossed in some croutons. I didn't have a drop of sauce left over. Didn't have any pasta left over either after hubby had seconds! Perfect summertime recipe. Thanks!!

Rotisserie Chicken

My family gives the 5 stars. The kids were requesting it again before dinner was done. Chicken was perfectly moist. However, I will definately reduce the amount of salt next time I make it.
