Scrambled Egg Brunch Bread

My daughter made this today. IT WAS GREAT! She used Mexican Chorizo instead of Ham and added chilis and tomatoes. It was yummy. My husband and I loved it! There was nothing left!

Soda Cracker Chocolate Candy

OH MAN! Can I add ten stars!? My hubby was away when I bake this Flan....It was so delicious , I ate the whole thing!! Now I have to wear loose fitting clothes and exercise so he wont notice !! Good recipe !!!! Invite others over. They will ask you for the recipe!

Cottage Cheese Chicken Enchiladas

I have been making this exact recipe for over 30 yrs and it still great! The only thing I add differently now is , the sauce. I use to use the red sauce...but using the green Ortega enchilada sauce instead of their red is SO gREAT! and I use Olives too.Try it.

American Lasagna

We all loved this recipe ! Wouldn't change a thing, except I want to use cottage cheese instead of Ricotta (a little bit salty for us) But other than that, ITS GREAT! Thanks for a good recipe!

Herbed Pomegranate Salsa

It is wonderful ! I took it to a party, and all the angelo's wouldn't touch it cause I said , "Jalapeno's", so I took it to a party with Hispanics , they gobbled it up ! So now everyone asks me to bring it! Great recipe, thanks Brian ,had lost mine.

Banana Nut Bread Baked in a Jar

If I could give this recipe 10 stars I would!!! Awesome ! Follow it to a "T" ! I put the jars on a cookie sheet, added a loaf pan half full of water under the cookie sheet ! Perfecto! The steam was coming out of the jar when I sampled it! Delicious! Linda Jean , Thanks Girl!! In going to try it with Strawberries next!

Kraft's Seven Layer Salad

I didnt find any joy in this recipe. Will not try again. That was my comments yesterday ! But I tried the salad today and ITS WONDERFUL !! AWESOME! I quess I didnt let it sit long enough in the refrigerator..I added only sliced waterchestnuts...its great ..Sorry Kraft Foods>

The Best Banana Bread

I think this is a basic recipe that is great! You add your own touches to it. I added 1/2 c of Applesauce, 1/2 c of Sour cream and I doubled the recipe and added chopped walnuts and raisins...It was awesome! Moist! Thank you Libby. I made 3 loaves out of this. Yummy !

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

I dont know whats wrong with people that change a recipe then complain that it didnt work! Dont you know that when you change milk to buttermilk...it changes the amount the biscuits will rise? When I make pancakes , I add a bit of water to the buttermilk. It makes them fluffier, they rise beautifully ! One cook named Azuledive admitted that it might be her mistake...amen! Give credit to where credit is due..the only change you can make is half butter /half shortening...nothing else except spices...Thank you J.P. I appreciate your sharing with us..

Real Homemade Tamales

This is a good recipe...you just need to add your own touches. For the masa..you can go to your Hispanic Mkt and buy the Masa (dough) already prepared . All you have to do is add salt to taste,some chicken broth to make it plyible.(easy to apply to the corn husk) and add some shortening (lard or crisco) taste as you go. It just takes practice.

Authentic Enchiladas Verdes

I love these enchiladas! But to save time...I use the Las Palmas GREEN Enchilada Sauce instead of the tomato. I use the same sauce in all my enchilada recipes...I have a recipe of Cottage cheese, sour cream and cheddar cheese and Onions and the sauce...Great!

Almond Chicken Casserole II

We loved this recipe! I only changed it by adding 2 garlic cloves and some cheddar cheese. I add herbs to all recipes>.Whats the big problems with people..they change the original recipe and then complain that it wasnt good!!? Try it once , then add your own touches. Thanks K.T.!

Chewy Drizzled Cinnamon Chips Cookies

I love these cookies! Time consumming,yes! But worth it. My kids love this recipe..I had misplaced it! When I dont have time to make these for parties, I fry wonton skins and then I use the Spicy Mango Salsa on this site ! Awesome ! I love all Hersheys Products !

Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing

Jan!!! Thank you so much for this recipe! I used fresh raspberries along with the mandarin ,shredded carrot , and added pineapple chunks,dried (drained),dried cranberries, on Baby Spinach , and other times , on Greens...Awesome! I sprinkle a bit of crushed chile pepper..to add hot too..Loved it !

Bacon and Date Appetizer

I think this is ok...but I sprinkle light brown sugar on the bacon and I add a slice of water chestnut in the pitted date, and wrap the bacon around the date. Its great!

Spanish Rice II

I love it when others have Spanish rice recipes...but they miss one thing or two...first, fry the rice until light light brown...then add the onions and bell pepper...cook until golden brown...add the seasonings; cumin, salt and pepper...and fill skillet with enought to cover rice a few inches over the rice...add a few drops of tomato sauce (just to color) instead of the whole tomatoes. DO not cover the skillet. As the water evaporates, add more water to the level of the rice...lower the heat from medium high to simmer and cover the skillet. when the steam no longer comes out of the lid...rice is done.
