First of all I am a Mom....that has been a Registered Nurse for 25 years. My kids are everything to me and I show that to them in many ways....but cooking for them is the best!

I love to cook down home comfort food....my mother was from the midwest and I grew up on "meat and potatoes". I still love to cook the old fashioned way....from scratch.

I love to cook for the holidays of course....but everyday cooking is what I enjoy the best.
My cooking triumphs
I was able to duplicate my husbands grandmothers recipe for potato salad that she never wrote down. It is exactly the way that she made it....without a recipe.
My cooking tragedies
I burned up two blenders trying to make divinity.....lol
