My favorite things to cook
I enjoy cooking a variety of different types of foods especially seafood and traditional holiday foods
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving dinner
My cooking triumphs
The wedding cake I made and decorated for my son's wedding
My cooking tragedies
The oven was dying and the food wouldn't heat fast enough when we were having a large group to our house for our rehearsal dinner. One of the first things we bought after we were married was a new stove.

Pumpkin Puree
Sugar pumpkins aren't that large and Jack-O-Lantern pumpkins aren't sugar pumpkins. The best flavour is from the smaller sugar pumpkins. Boiling pumpkin just makes it soggy. Baking (or microwaving) is much better

Hard Sauce
To the person that found the sauce 'gritty', you didn't beat the butter and sugar together long enough.

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken
This recipe really does not need added milk. There is plenty of liquid as the chicken cooks. I cut boneless chicken breasts into peices and added boneless chicken thighs in pieces as well. I substituted minced fresh garlic for the garlic powder. We really enjoyed this over rice.
